It’s OK to not play every New Videogame.

It’s the end of October, Halloween is approaching and November 10th is getting here, slowly. You get home and you rush to play the newest videogame until you realize there’s something new coming in 2 weeks or less, like Halo 5. Then you wonder if you’re single like me and you ask “What videogame should I get for Christmas or get now?”.

It’s a singular word that means alot to Gamers like myself or if you’re a casual gamer then that word means alot to you, it’s a collection of the series that you managed to keep up with like you have the complete Fallout series or every videogame in the Halo series, or every NBA 2K videogame. How do you choose one for the Fall / Autumn season if you want most of them, or do you save it for Christmas and the Summer Drought where there is absolutely nothing to play? In a nutshell, Fall is the busiest time of the year for every Gamer. There is triple AAA videogames coming out 2 or 3 weeks apart, I count 10, the ones that I will purchase.

On the horizon, in 2 short weeks comes Fallout 4, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 and Star Wars: Battlefront. That’s to name a few, next week is the biggest week in Xbox signaling the arrival of Halo 5: Guardians, all the way from here to December 1st is a shit load of videogames.

Again here comes that bugging question: How do I get one and how do I make that videogame last until December 31st or January 2016? Mainly for me, it’s impossible because I most likely will spend cash from here to December, ending with Rainbow Six: Siege and now you’re worrying because you don’t want to miss out on the launch day like I do, I fear for missing out on launch day. You’re not going to get through each and every new release which is fine unless you’re playing Call of Duty or any other videogame that has a short campaign.

You don’t have to purchase every new release, make plans for each videogame you want and when will you wait to get the other one that you desperately want.

For me, it’s definitely Fallout 4 and Star Wars: Battlefront, alongside Rise of the Tomb Raider. Prioritizing is the key to survival here and learning to know what videogame it is what you want. It’s hard to decide. You choose what you like and that’s all that anybody can ask for.
